Grethel Croft: A beautiful woman and artist born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and then quickly relocated to where she calls home and her true heritage and culture, the Dominican Republic. This is where her foundation in traditional love for culture, flare for deep rich color, and hand made, patiently pieced, personal pleasures can be produced with just her very own two hands originated from. Raised with two siblings, her Mother and Grandmother, whom are both seemstress, taught her as young child patterns, fabrics, and threadings which inspired her to channel her artistic outlet through design. Her father, the world reknowned Dr. Erold Kroft, taught his beloved daughter the strings and cords of the guitar might not of realized what his impact was, at the time, but can now be clearly seen was the melody that made the lyrics her soul sings through her art. The household now full of musical and designing artistry in the air influenced and matured the creative growth inside of her and combined with her instictive niche for fashion and knowledge of the varieties in women then birthed Lady Soul; her accumalitive dream of art, soul, design, love of life's treasures...
