- About Me
- It is extremely difficult to know where the ends Dacal-singer and starts Andréia Dacal-person. Wake by a half - the rap of ragga, the Andrea Dacal, singer and songwriter born in Niterói started releasing songs from their first album on the net, "CAOS ROOTS CONTROLE" in 2005 by Myspace and was officially launched in 2007, the album attracted attention since the beginning and new partnerships beyond Brazil's borders. Andrea, electric personality, spontaneous and inventive, always kept in motion, promoting music and culture of his native city, Niteroi. He served on numerous fronts to work for the dissemination of the underground music in the city from the late '90s, he served as an athlete in skateboarding, skate-producing circuits, specializing in media writing to the portals of gender, culture and information served as journalist and editor of electronic media focused on the spread of reggae music in Brazil in exchange with the world as a promoter, disclosing, publicist, journalist, producer, musician .... Dacal not stopped in the last 15 years according to articulate the true spirit of "believe yourself." Matured and developed his style critical, reflective and positive to sing and perform his poetry, from a sound mix involving various trends and schools of music, from traditional to contemporary, with spice, always present, their greatest influence: the Jamaican reggae.
In March 2010 Dacal released his second album on the network "AFIRMATIVA" played by the French netlabel "Fresh`Poulp", specialized in dub & urban music. The album has 10 tracks, distributed in eight partnerships that resulted in the disk that makes up the tour of this new work that will extend until mid-2011. The rebound after the release of the album was so positive that in July, Andrea embarked on her first international tour organized by Fresh Poulp in partnership with Creative Coomons - France and DogMazic

Another victory this year 2010 for independent action and collective Andreia artistic and musical partner, was the debut lineup LAB BR BRAZIL MTV video clips of the "Game Within 'partnership with producer Andrew Dacal and Jr. Rodrigues, and "Opinião Dub" fruit of the partnership with Dj Music Andrea and Dj Komodo. Both songs are tracks from the new album "AFIRMATIVA". The videos were directed and produced by filmmaker Rio , Ton Gadioli (Gadioli Movies) and express the music with great sensitivity and personality of the artist.
Engaging with the beats of his repertoire, experimentation, originality, good thoughts and lots of energy in the interpretation, Dacal comes with this new album promises AFIRMATIVA inspire the audience, packing the auditorium, with an original repertoire, amazing, strong and compelling, to move the body and mind of the public.
