- About Me
- "Johnny Fife has been playing percussion since 1998 and studied recording at Pogo studios in Champaign IL, under the direction of Mark Rubel. Johnny Fife has also recorded produced and released 16 albums in the past 13 years under various aliases and genres. In addition to his solo projects, Johnny Fife joined the legendary Lloyd St. Rockers in '07. They released the album "In DUB" in the summer of '09 as well as recording countless singles and show performances. This time allowed Johnny Fife to truly understand the Polyrhythms and roots of reggae. Johnny Fife also started Dread Instead Studios in June '09 where he recorded the Battle Ground EP and his most recent album, Planetary Dread."
