Hello,
Nice to meet you, how is everything, hope all is well with you. My name is Dawata Ringor,I found your contact and I picked interest to contact you. I've something very important which I would love to share with you privately, therefore,…
Kisko Amari was born Navardo Henry on September 21, 1984 in St. Ann, Jamaica. Navardo’s childhood nickname Kisko was added to Amari, an East African name, which means strength builder, to symbolize the essence of singer and songwriter Kisko Amari.
While growing up Kisko was an active member of both the Lewis district Seventh Day Adventist Church Youth Choir and the York Castle High School Choir. Even so, he never gave much thought to the idea of pursuing a career in the music industry. After graduating from York Castle, he attended Knox Community College to pursue a career as an engineer. While attending Knox Community College, he was exposed to mainstream reggae music and adapted Sizzla Kolongi as a role model.
Kisko wrote, sang, and recorded a three-track demo CD in 2006. In that same year, he placed well in the Reggae Jam fourth Annual Talent Search Competition, which allowed him a radio interview. Since then he has performed countless times in Jamaica and New York. He has sung at shows that featured Kip Rich, Fantan Mojah, Aidonai, Serani, Yami Bolo, Major Mackerel, Ed Robinson, and Nardo Ranks.
Kisko is currently working on an album, which will feature Serious Mama and Access with love. Without labeling his reggae style Kisko Amari defines his music as “simple, pure, and spiritual.”
