- The Sao Paulo band was formed in September 2000 by figures stamped the Sao Paulo music , the proposal to make a Reggae, above all, original due to the many influences of bands such as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, The Clash, Colera, Beto Guedes , Bob Marley, Black Uhuru, Israel Vibration.
Precursor of DUB in Brazil, he recorded his first independent cd (SENSIMILLA) with an exorbitant amount of sales and the emplacou successes "Ondas"and "Litoral Norte" in the main of specialized radioshows, and done a special on Channel 21(TV), billing well as the prize in 2001 awarded byrevelation band Fm Radio Press, which increased further in music scene in Brazil!
The CD "Dois Por Um"with 13 tracks, was released in July 2003 beyond expectations, containing the hits rewrites of "Ondas" and "Litoral Norte" and unpublished songs instead of claiming the trend of heavy guitars, and Dubs many innovations that like the ears of fans of the band, as the "jungle" of the song "Police in Helicopters" by John Holt, which reached the first places in Puncky Radio Reggae - Germany. The cd was implemented in the radios in France, Belgium, USA, Portugal, Argentina, Peru, among others.
SENSIMILLA DUB soon after was invited to be the RHYTHM BAND for ANDREW TOSH , son of the legendary Jamaican musician PETER TOSH, where he made a tour of the southeastern Brazil.
Several magazines had published more than a dozen reviews positive to CD, such as: MTV Magazine September 2003, Dynamite, as well as the gringos: The Beat, Reggae Festival Guide, Armageddon Times, Rasta Snob and many others that allowed the band one international recognition.
Among the various presentations, focus on the World Social Forum 2005 in Porto Alegre, Memorial of Latin America, produced by Rede Globo in commemoration of 450 years of St. Paul and to share the stage with renowned reggae band Groundation,SOJA,Dezarie,talking about international names those share the stages with dem!
Recording the new CD ,"Na Vibe" , in one of the best studios in South America (Studio Vibe), with the signature of the producer of Coto Guarino (Rita Lee, Zizi Posse, CPM 22, Capital Inicial), who managed to give a extreme quality to the sound of the band, which can be felt in songs like "Fernando de Noronha", "Terra Mãe" or "FDP (Filhos da Pátria)",etc, which shows the heavy hand of the band and has the more than special guests by: Redson ( Colera), Pompeu (Korzus), Cannibal (Devotos) and Jonny MC (Possemente Zulu) that show that music has no boundaries or labels!
